Comics Available from Matt's Comic Art
Matt's Comic Art publishes "A World of Heroes" comics. The primary title features "Man Power". The world of Man Power, is a parallel version of our Earth. The only difference from our World is the emergence of Super Powered people.
The protagonist of Man Power was first created back when I was in high school. I have a memory of attempting a comic book based on the character in 1998. I had some drawings in an old sketch book. There was little development and from my memory I did not create more than a few pages. Similar attempts were made every few years. It was not until I met my future wife Catherine, that I developed a focus. In 2006, I started a comic idea about the backstory of my comic world. That comic would become Man Power: Birth of the Supermen. The comic became a four part story, approximately 100 pages.
This four part model became my standard practice. From 2006 to 2010,
I worked a night shift. During this time, I used my down time to create original art. I had four story arks collected by this time. Catherine, helped me develop my first website. I continued with the Man Power series. By 2012 Catherine had encouraged that I try self-publishing my first comic book.
The next year we attended Fan-Expo in Toronto, Ontario Canada.
Stan Lee, was taking photos with fans. I had the honor of hand delivering my first self-published comic to him. It would not be until 2016, that Catherine would find a Publisher for my Title.
Our first published Graphic Novel was Man Power: Birth of the Supermen.
By 2017 we had the Graphic Novel available in over 80 book stores right across Canada. Unfortunately a severe illness sidelined our marketing efforts. We ended our partnership with that first publisher in 2018. Since that time I have re-branded our title and focused on digital sales. We have also run two successful Kickstarter campaigns.

I got to shake his hand and gave him my book as a present.
Catherine, really wanted to make this Fan-Expo a
memorable trip for me. She got us the tickets for this photo shoot.

The World has heard of the Navy SEAL's.
When the USA can not send in the SEAL's
for any reason, Manfred Powers III is called.
He led his troops on impossible missions.
Misdirected by a government agent
(Dr. Ryhne). He was collecting prime candidates for his own superhuman team.
Ryhne performed tests on these troop.
He created Cyber-enhanced soldiers, to take on the Superhuman Threat facing the USA.
In the near future, the United States
of America is facing a new threat.
People with Superhuman Powers
are becoming an issue of public
concern. Some of these people
are committing crimes and endangering
lives.
An ambitious bureaucrat, Dr. Ryhne
has a plan. Create Cybernetic
Super Soldiers. Now the USA
has their own Super Team.

Director Ryhne is in despair, his Team Two was
lost. Just hours away from dispensary actions,
his project is saved by a Terrorist Attack on
New York City. Power Play, AKA Man Power is
in constant combat. He is looking for an opportunity to escape and free
his team from Director Ryhnes control.
Set in the near future, a major
disaster has just struck Los Angeles.
The resulting chain reaction caused
huge tsunami. Man Power and his
team are there on the ground
working to save as many lives as
they could.
Taking advantage of the disaster,
a Secret Enemy launches an
attack on the Nations Capital.
Man Power is convinced by the
President, to lead America's
Super Team.
